Broadcast Journalism

In 2016, I was SA Music Director and had a regular nightly show on Kixx Radio ( called Kixxstart. I co-hosted The BSide Hour every Friday night with Matthew Trainor until the station opted to go national and moved away from local content, which I have a passion for. I provided voicers, sweepers and promotional grabs for the station. I voiced the grabs for shows, sweepers and advertisements for sponsors.

During 2012-2014, I undertook training in news presenting and went on to become a volunteer newsreader at Radio Adelaide and Fresh 92.7fm, which I enjoyed immensely.

In 2012, I completed an internship as a breakfast radio producer and presenter at Radio Adelaide with Tim Brunero (ABC) and Angus Randall (ABC). I learned skills in time management, producing and finding great content with a current affairs edge.

Also in 2012, I was an intern producer for ABC 891 Afternoons with Sonya Feldhoff and Drive with Michael Smyth. Working with professionals in the industry and experts in their field was a rich and valuable experience.
